still resides. He is the oldest of four siblings (two brothers with a sister in the middle). His mother is still and active member at Emmanuel UCC, where Barry was confirmed at age 13, and then ordained in 1987. His father passed away after a valiant 6-year battle with Alzheimer Disease in 2012. Barry has one son, Stephen, who is a senior (majoring in Social Work) at Bowling Green State University—and who has proudly served playing euphonium and sousaphone in the BGSU Falcon Marching Band for four years!

In 2012, Barry was married to his wife, Cheryl,
who worked as a supervisor for Stark County Job and Family
Services in Canton. She has since retired from JFS, but has resumed her work as a licensed Realtor. Cheryl has one daughter, and four grandchildren, all in Canton. Their blended family loves each other and gets along well, and always looked forward to times spent together!
